The Entire 2000 Years of Church History in Three Hours

Dr. Mark Nickens, doctorate in Church History, will come to your church and lead a mesmerizing and captivating journey through the entire history of the Church, from AD 30 (when Jesus died and ascended to Heaven) to the present. The different time periods covered include:

Early Church (30-400)
Medieval Church (400-1500)
Protestant Reformation (1500-1600)
American Church History (1600-present)

As we cover each of these time periods, Dr. Nickens will use his ten years of experience teaching Church History to delight your members with stories, anecdotes, facts, and figures. Your members will learn the answers to these questions:

How did the church move from being persecuted to being the official religion of the Roman Empire?
Why did the center of Christianity shift from Jerusalem in the early church period to Rome in the Middle Ages?

Dr. Nickens teaches religion classes at Carolina Evangelical Divinity School in Greensboro, NC and Averett University in Danville, VA, and runs an academic website at www.christiantimelines.com.

This seminar is designed to be given on a Friday from 6-9, Saturday from 9-12, 1-4, or 6-9, or on Sunday from 2-5 (the times can move up or back a bit).
